Junior Seafood Processing Manager – new shrimp species under organic culture (India & Bangladesh)
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Processing Manager with proven experience in seafood processing and enthusiasm for quality. A focus on shrimps, knowledge on organic regulations, HACCP, hygiene and sanitation procedures, microbial analysis, and certification procedures is appreciated. An experienced team will be at your side to bring you up to speed and guide you on your way to bearing full responsibility for an entire plant.
The responsibility of this position is to oversee the planning and implementation of defined procedures along the complete supply chain, starting from harvest of live animals from the pond, to processing, storage and finally shipment.

Intensive quality management will form part of the remit, ensuring that you are aware of all matters ‘from the field’ and have an accurate idea of all issues at any time.
In addition to day to day staff management and organisation you will be expected to produce reports against KPIs and budget, including making any necessary adjustments to improve quality and output. A strong technical background and extensive experience will put you in a good position for this aspect, which will be key to success in this position. Previous work experience in a shrimp processing plant would be a positive differentiating factor.
Applicants should be qualified to graduate level at a minimum in a Food Engineering degree and display a passion and commitment for work in this field and be eager to work abroad in Asia.
Soft skills which will help you master the mission are self-dependence, cultural sensitivity and communicative competence, especially in English language.
